6 min read

When looking for student accommodation in Brno, it’s not just the room itself that matters. Equally important is exactly where you’ll be living: how long it takes to get to your faculty, whether you’ll be able to sleep peacefully at night, and whether there’s a supermarket, café or restaurant just round the corner. Two neighbourhoods that have a lot to offer students are Žabovřesky and Královo Pole.

It is in these neighbourhoods that you’ll find all four ABC Student & Home halls of residence: Plevova 7 and Plevova 9 in Brno-Žabovřesky, and Tyršova 70 and Střední 15 in Brno-Královo Pole. Each of the halls is close to a public transport stop, and the faculties of Brno University of Technology, Masaryk University and Mendel University are all within easy reach. Let’s take a look at what both locations have to offer and how quickly you can get to your lectures from each hall of residence.
